We Focus on Jesus Christ

Jesus is central to everything we do at Regional Church. He is the cornerstone of our faith and the focus of our worship. Our songs, prayers, and sermons all revolve around the teachings and life of Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible to be Holy Spirit-breathed, forever relevant, and we preach and embrace its truths that are unchanging regardless of the times and cultural trends.

Our past, present, and future are all deeply intertwined with the teachings and legacy of Jesus Christ. We look to His life and the scriptures for guidance, inspiration, and strength as we navigate the challenges and joys of life. Our faith in Jesus Christ shapes our decisions, actions, and interactions with others.

As a church, our ultimate purpose on this earth is to glorify Jesus Christ and to spread His message of love, compassion, and salvation to all corners of the world. We are dedicated to serving our community and beyond, carrying out Jesus' mission to love our neighbors and care for those in need; yet our main purpose is to share the salvation message with those who have not yet embraced His gift of eternal life. Serving and blessing others is a valuable way to initiate trust and rich relationships that open ears to the hearing of the Word of God! What an opportunity to point others to the goodness of our God, through demonstrating His care for the hurting, sick, poor, lonely, unchurched, and needy.

We are

Real People

We are real people infused with dynamic faith, committed to a common vision, joined together in the covenant love of our Creator. He has brought us through hard times, blessed us with good times, and has never left us. When we worship, we bring all of that to Him--the tears, the losses, the joys, the victories--and we are overwhelmed with gratitude. We are not perfect, but we are works in progress. He's not finished with us yet, and He's not finished with you, either!

We come from every walk of life...young, aging, new believers, seasoned saints, well-off, still struggling, introverts, extroverts, and we all come together under the banner of His love.

We know that regardless of who we are, where we came from, He alone has saved us! We are a multicultural, multigenerational ministry assembly who seeks intently to reach our region for Christ.

We are unashamed of the gospel, bold in our Pentecostal faith and our intense atmosphere of worship, but humble in knowing that He alone deserves the glory. It's all for Him and all about Him!

"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit."

We used to be

Completely Broken

There really is a reason why it's called the Good News. When He comes into a life, everything changes. Once lost and undone, we are now rescued! We are grateful for undeserved redemption, in awe of God's amazing grace, healed by His unfailing forgiveness, and humbled by His simple, life-transforming invitation to "Follow Me."

Our testimonies are of divine encounters with the Bondage-Breaker, the Healer, the Deliverer. We know that we are here only because He has saved us! Praise the Lord, we are no longer victims, no longer orphans, no longer adrift. In Him we found our home.

Realizing this truth inspires us to worship the Lord, for He is worthy of all our praise.

"but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love."

Ephesians 4:15-16

We serve

The Perfect God

We love and serve a good and perfect God. It is His will that we love one another as well. We believe that there's a special dynamic in belonging to a local church, having a place to plug in and use our gifts and talents to bless others as we glorify the Father. The whole implication of being the Body of Christ is a divine connection between the members, with Jesus as our head!

Although we are saved by God's grace alone and not our works, our deep love and gratitude to Him spills over into our actions. Regional Church offers opportunities for everyone to find a way to contribute. We can help you identify your special talents, find your calling, and support the church and community. There are many ways to volunteer at Regional. One good first step, if you haven't already done so, is to fill out a Volunteer Application. We'll help connect you to a place where you can share your unique blessings from God!

Regional Church is located in Delbarton, West Virginia. Whether you're native to our area or you're just passing through, please stop by and worship with us. We love meeting new people and we would love to meet you!

PS - we love trail riders and bikers! Come as you are...in your work clothes, your "Sunday-go-to-meeting" clothes, even your recreation gear!
